Το Baja Greece 2027 στο επίκεντρο του διεθνούς μηχανοκίνητου αθλητισμού

4–6 Ιουνίου 2027 | Δυτική Μακεδονία – Άργος Ορεστικό

Το Baja Greece επιστρέφει στις 4–6 Ιουνίου 2027 στη Δυτική Μακεδονία, με επίκεντρο το Άργος Ορεστικό, αποτελώντας μέρος του FIA World Baja Cup και του FIA European Baja Cup, των κορυφαίων διεθνών θεσμών αγώνων Baja εκτός δρόμου.

Η διοργάνωση θα υποδεχθεί πληρώματα και ομάδες από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό, προσφέροντας υψηλού επιπέδου αγωνιστικό θέαμα στις απαιτητικές διαδρομές της περιοχής, με φόντο τα βουνά της περιoχής. Το Baja Greece έχει καθιερωθεί ως σημαντικός σταθμός στο διεθνές ημερολόγιο αγώνων Baja, ενισχύοντας τη θέση της Ελλάδας στον παγκόσμιο χάρτη του μηχανοκίνητου αθλητισμού.

Από την πρώτη του διοργάνωση το 2012, το Baja Greece εξελίσσεται διαρκώς, συνδυάζοντας τις υψηλές αγωνιστικές απαιτήσεις με την προβολή της φυσικής ομορφιάς και της φιλοξενίας της Δυτικής Μακεδονίας. Η ένταξή του στα ημερολόγια της FIA από το 2022 επιβεβαιώνει τη διεθνή του αναγνώριση και τη σταθερή αναπτυξιακή του πορεία.

Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δίνεται και στην περιβαλλοντική υπευθυνότητα. Με οδηγό τη φιλοσοφία «Lead the Race, Leave No Trace», η διοργάνωση επενδύει σε πρακτικές που περιορίζουν το περιβαλλοντικό αποτύπωμα του αγώνα και προάγουν μια πιο βιώσιμη προσέγγιση στον μηχανοκίνητο αθλητισμό που επιβεβαιώνεται και με την απόκτηση του 2^ου αστεριού στο περιβαλλοντολογικό πρόγραμμα της FIA.

Σημαντική είναι η θεσμική συμβολή του Υπουργείου Αθλητισμού, των Περιφερειακών Ενοτήτων Καστοριάς και Φλώρινας και του Δήμου Άργους Ορεστικού καθώς και η υποστήριξη των χορηγών ΔΕΣΦΑ Α.Ε. και TOYO TIRES, που ενισχύουν την προσπάθεια για τη διοργάνωση ενός διεθνούς αθλητικού γεγονότος με αγωνιστικό κύρος, περιβαλλοντική ευαισθησία και θετικό αποτύπωμα στην τοπική κοινωνία.

Το Baja Greece 2027 φιλοδοξεί να προσφέρει ένα τριήμερο έντονου ανταγωνισμού και μοναδικών εμπειριών, αναδεικνύοντας παράλληλα τη Δυτική Μακεδονία ως προορισμό διεθνούς αθλητικού ενδιαφέροντος.

Baja Greece 2027 at the Heart of International Motorsport

4–6 June 2027 | Western Macedonia – Argos Orestiko

Baja Greece returns to Western Macedonia on 4–6 June 2027, with Argos Orestiko as its focal point, forming part of the FIA World Baja Cup and the FIA European Baja Cup, the leading international championships for off-road Baja rally competitions.

The event will welcome crews and teams from Greece and abroad, offering high-level sporting action on the demanding routes of the region, set against the backdrop of the surrounding mountains. Baja Greece has established itself as an important round on the international Baja rally calendar, strengthening Greece’s position on the global motorsport map.

Since its first edition in 2012, Baja Greece has continued to evolve, combining high sporting demands with the promotion of the natural beauty and hospitality of Western Macedonia. Its inclusion in the FIA calendars since 2022 confirms its international recognition and its steady development.

Particular emphasis is also placed on environmental responsibility. Guided by the philosophy “Lead the Race, Leave No Trace”, the event invests in practices that limit the environmental footprint of the rally and promote a more sustainable approach to motorsport, further confirmed by the achievement of the second star in the FIA Environmental Accreditation Programme.

The institutional contribution of the Ministry of Sport, the Regional Units of Kastoria and Florina, and the Municipality of Argos Orestiko is significant, alongside the support of sponsors DESFA S.A. and TOYO TIRES, which strengthen the effort to organise an international sporting event distinguished by sporting prestige, environmental awareness and a positive impact on the local community.

Baja Greece 2027 aspires to deliver three days of intense competition and unique experiences, while also showcasing Western Macedonia as a destination of international sporting interest.
